One of the most important functions of the Agility app is the ability for the warehouse bank to fund loans submitted by loan originators. After developing a flow for an individual loan to be funded, our team needed to circle back and enable users to fund loans in bulk. Agility is used by banks of all sizes, and so developing a UI that scales and can smoothly handle small and large actions is imperative.
While the warehouse banking industry is used to spreadsheets ad tables, Agility strives to provide a flexible and modern, user-centered experience for its users. Giving the user the ability to toggle between grid and card view is one of the ways that we were able to achieve that.
Prototyping in Figma was an important asset in demonstrating to the team how to handle the various actions available in a smart and efficient way. We were able to develop a system with logic that helped the user select the correct loans to batch together based on their status within the system. The UI would reflect those options and help drive them to what they want to do without unnecessary clutter and confusion.
